“Kindness Knows No Species” — An Initiative for Compassionate Care & Protection of Animals

Karuna is a compassionate social-impact initiative dedicated to the care, protection, rescue, and welfare of animals. The project aims to support vulnerable, abandoned, injured, and community animals by providing access to food, basic medical care, rescue support, sterilisation, vaccination, rehabilitation, and safe shelter where required.

Karuna believes that compassion should extend beyond humans—every living being deserves dignity, care, and the chance to live safely. Through community participation and responsible animal-welfare practices, the initiative seeks to build a more empathetic and humane society.

For CSR partners, Karuna creates measurable impact through parameters such as animals rescued and treated, vaccinations and sterilisation interventions, meals provided, animals rehabilitated, emergency cases supported, adoption or rehoming facilitated, and community awareness programmes conducted.
